Returns & Exchanges

We want every experience with MIOBUK to live up to your expectations. Every product is carefully manufactured, inspected and packaged before being dispatched to the customer. Should anything not go as planned, our Customer Service team is on hand to find the most appropriate solution, in accordance with the applicable regulations and the terms and conditions set out below.

1. Right of withdrawal

If you have purchased a product via our websites and qualify as a consumer under the relevant legislation, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days of the date on which you received the product, without having to give any reason and without incurring any penalties, subject to any costs provided for by law.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, simply notify Ghost Collection S.r.l. of your decision within the time limit laid down by law. You can contact our Customer Services team at the following email address: support@miobuk.it. We will provide you with the necessary instructions on how to return the product.

The right of withdrawal may be exercised within the limits and subject to the conditions laid down by the applicable legislation.

2. Limited Editions

Limited Editions are subject to the same protections provided for in the legislation applicable to standard products, subject to any exceptions provided for by law.

The fact that a product is numbered, produced in limited quantities or accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity does not, in itself, limit the right of withdrawal provided for under the applicable legislation.

3. Condition of the returned product

Should the Customer exercise their right of withdrawal, they are required to return the product within 14 days of the date on which they notified us of their withdrawal, in accordance with the Consumer Code.

The product should be returned, as far as possible, in the condition in which it was received. In particular, it is recommended that the product:

• has not been used more than is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning;
• free from any writing, annotations or other signs of use not necessary for the inspection of the product;
• no damage or alterations are present;
• complete with any accessories received;
• is adequately protected during the return transit.

Any reduction in the value of the product resulting from handling other than that necessary to verify its nature, characteristics and functioning may result in a corresponding reduction in the refund, within the limits set out in the applicable legislation.

4. Original packaging

We recommend that you use the original packaging to protect the product during return delivery.

The absence or damage to the original packaging does not automatically result in the return being refused, provided that the product is returned in a condition that allows it to be handled correctly and is adequately protected during transit. This is without prejudice to the Customer’s rights under the applicable legislation.

5. Certificate of Authenticity

For Limited Editions accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, the Certificate forms an integral part of the product’s contents. In the event of a return, we therefore ask you to also include the relevant Certificate of Authenticity and any other items supplied with the product.

Should the Certificate or other items included in the original package not be returned, this may result in a reduction in the value of the product and, where required by applicable legislation, a consequent reduction in the refund proportionate to the reduction in value actually observed.

6. Return costs

Unless otherwise stated or provided for by the applicable legislation:

• The direct costs of returning the goods incurred in exercising the right of withdrawal are to be borne by the Customer;
• Should the product fail to conform, arrive damaged or have been dispatched in error, Ghost Collection S.r.l. will bear the costs associated with the return and, where applicable, with the replacement or redelivery.

Before returning a damaged, faulty or incorrect product, please contact Customer Services for the necessary instructions.

7. Refund

Once we have received the returned product, we will carry out the necessary checks and, where applicable, issue a refund within 14 days of receiving notice of withdrawal. In any event, any refund will only be paid once the product has been returned.

Unless otherwise agreed with the Customer or otherwise provided for by law, the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase. Should the right of withdrawal be exercised, the refund will be made within the time limits laid down by the applicable legislation.

Where required by law, Ghost Collection S.r.l. may withhold the refund until the returned product has been received or until the Customer has provided proof of dispatch, whichever is earlier.

8. Changes

To ensure simpler and more efficient order processing, MIOBUK does not offer direct product exchanges. If you wish to receive a different item, you may exercise your right of withdrawal, where applicable, and then place a new order.

In the case of products that are faulty, damaged or do not comply with the order, the safeguards provided for under current legislation will apply and, depending on the circumstances, the product may be replaced.

9. Products used

MIOBUK products are designed to be used and kept over time. Should the Customer exercise their right of withdrawal, they may handle and inspect the product only to the extent necessary to ascertain its nature, characteristics and functioning.

Should the product bear any writing, notes, completed pages or other signs of use that go beyond such checks, this may result in a reduction in the product’s value and, where provided for by the applicable legislation, a consequent reduction in the refund. The same principle applies to products that show damage, alterations or modifications resulting from improper use.

10. Using the MIOBUK® Ring

The MIOBUK® Ring is designed as a display accessory to keep the notebook open and showcase its Ghost Technology.

Prolonged use of the MIOBUK® Ring may result in a natural, permanent curvature of the notebook’s cover or structure. This effect may be due to the product’s characteristics and the way the accessory is used, and does not, in itself, constitute a manufacturing defect.

Should you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned undamaged and in a condition suitable for resale. If the product shows signs of deformation, damage or permanent alterations resulting from excessive use, the return may not be accepted or may result in a reduction in the refund, where provided for by the applicable legislation.

11. Products purchased as gifts

If a product has been purchased as a gift for another person, any refund will be made exclusively to the original purchaser and, unless otherwise agreed or required by law, using the payment method used for the order.

12. Bundles and special offers

Where an order includes several products purchased as part of a bundle, promotional pack or special offer, any returns and refunds will be handled in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable to the order and the specific promotion.

In the event of a partial return of a bundle or a special offer, the refund amount may be recalculated on the basis of the price actually applicable to the individual products once the promotional conditions no longer apply, to the extent permitted by applicable legislation.

13. Our commitment

If your MIOBUK arrives damaged, is faulty or does not match what you ordered, please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible. We recommend that you attach some photographs of the product, the outer packaging and any inner packaging, so that we can assess the situation quickly.

Our team will carefully review each enquiry and, in accordance with the relevant legislation, will identify the most appropriate solution, which may include, depending on the circumstances, the repair, replacement or refund of the product.
