Cookie Policy
Also in the management of the website, we pay particular attention to transparency and the protection of personal data. MIOBUK websites use cookies and similar technologies to ensure the proper functioning of the platforms, improve the browsing experience and, subject to consent where required, collect statistical information and offer more relevant content.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which categories may be used, for what purposes and how you can manage your preferences. It should be read in conjunction with our’Privacy Statement.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites can store on the user's device while browsing. Depending on their function, they allow the device or browser used to be recognised, certain preferences to be remembered and the correct operation of certain features to be guaranteed: keeping the contents of a shopping cart, allowing a purchase to be completed, and managing a browsing session.
Some cookies are deleted automatically at the end of the session, while others may remain stored on the device for a set period.
2. How we use cookies
Upon your first visit, a consent management system is displayed that allows you to accept non-essential cookies, reject them or customise your preferences.
Strictly necessary cookies are essential for the operation of the site and the requested services, and do not require consent. Other cookies and tracking tools are activated exclusively with prior consent, where required by legislation. Preferences can be changed at any time.
3. Types of cookies used
Strictly necessary — essential for the operation of the site and the requested functions: maintaining the shopping cart, managing checkout, allowing access to the personal area, maintaining the session, storing consent preferences, ensuring security and preventing fraudulent activity. They cannot be disabled by the consent management system.
Functional — they allow certain user choices to be remembered, such as the selected language or certain navigation settings. Disabling them may limit certain functionalities.
Analysts — they collect information on how the site is used: number of visits, pages viewed, duration, navigation paths, interactions, and any technical errors. They are used to improve performance, content, and services. When the analytical tools are provided by third parties, the data may also be processed by the suppliers concerned in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Marketing and profiling — if used, they make it possible to offer more relevant content or commercial communications and to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. They are activated solely with prior consent and their potential use is indicated in the consent management system.
Payment services — during the purchase, some cookies or similar technologies may be used by payment service providers to enable the correct and secure processing of transactions. Ghost Collection S.r.l. does not store or have access to full card details when these are managed directly by the respective providers.
4. Third-party cookies
Some site features may use services provided by third parties, which may install cookies or use similar technologies for the purposes described in their respective policies: payment service providers, analytics and statistical tools, security services, technical and hosting services, and marketing and communication tools. The updated list can be viewed via the consent management system.
5. How to manage preferences
You can modify your preferences at any time through the consent management system, delete cookies already stored via your browser settings, or configure your browser to block some or all cookies. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect the functioning of the shopping cart, checkout, and other essential features.
6. Duration of cookies
Session cookies are generally deleted when you finish browsing or close your browser. Persistent cookies may remain stored for a set period or until they are deleted by the user. The duration of individual cookies can be found in the technical list available in the consent management system.
7. Consent management
When required by regulations, the installation of non-strictly necessary cookies is subject to the user's consent. Consent may be given, refused or modified via the preference management system. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
8. Changes to the Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy may be updated over time to reflect regulatory, technical, organisational, or service- and technology-related changes. The most recent version is always available on this page.
