Product Care

Every MIOBUK is designed to be written in, used and kept over time. Proper care of the product helps to preserve its materials, finishes and distinctive characteristics.

1. Storage

To keep your MIOBUK in the best condition:

• store in a dry, well-ventilated place;
• avoid prolonged direct sunlight;
• keep it away from sources of heat and moisture;
• avoid significant temperature fluctuations;
• When not in use, place it on a flat surface.

2. Cover design

To clean the cover, use only a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not apply liquids directly to the product.

Avoid solvents, alcohol, harsh cleaning products, abrasive products and rough sponges, as these may damage the finish.

3. Ghost Technology

La Ghost Technology è una lavorazione artistica applicata ai bordi delle pagine. Per la natura del processo possono verificarsi lievi variazioni di allineamento, colore o intensità della stampa.

Such variations are part of the product’s characteristics; they may affect individual items but do not normally compromise the product’s functionality or usability.

4. Decorated edges and finishes

To preserve the decorated edges and any foil finishes:

• avoid excessive rubbing and pressure;
• avoid contact with liquids;
• do not use cleaning products;
• Protect them from contact with sharp objects.

Slight wear and tear over time is a natural consequence of use.

5. Paper

The paper may exhibit slight natural variations in colour, grain, fibres and texture. For the best writing experience, we recommend using writing instruments that are compatible with the type of paper used in this product.

6. Using the MIOBUK® Ring

The MIOBUK® Ring is designed to display the notebook whilst it is open and should only be used once you have finished writing in the notebook.

Prolonged use may alter the notebook’s natural opening and cause the cover, spine or pages to become permanently warped.

The MIOBUK® Ring should therefore only be fitted once you have finished using the notebook. Once fitted, it causes the notebook to become permanently curved. Before fitting it, keep the notebook closed, on a flat surface and away from direct light and damp.

7. Normal wear and tear

Over time and with use, the following may occur:

• minor marks on the cover;
• slight variations in the finishes;
• slight wear to the edges;
• natural softening of the binding.

These issues may be due to normal wear and tear on the product.

8. When to contact us

Please contact our Customer Services team if your MIOBUK:

• arrives damaged;
• has a fault;
• does not correspond to what was ordered;
• shows defects that cannot be attributed to normal production or use.

We would advise you to attach a few photographs of the product and the packaging so that we can assess the situation more quickly.
